The Transition Band understands that the passing of a loved one is difficult. The service (and music) needs to be carefully planned to reflect and honor the deceased. We have performed for many memorial services and learned about the history and tradition of a "jazz funeral" through our trips to many states, and having members of the band participate and play in funerals there, alongside the masters of our craft.
